Mustafa Saadoun is a journalist and the head of the Iraqi Observatory for Human Rights. He has been working in journalism for 18 years and has worked with several Arab and international media outlets, including the U.S.-based Al-Monitor website and RT (Russia Today). He also worked in Washington for Alhurra TV and served as a producer for the Iraqi elections program on the Saudi channel Al Arabiya. He has managed a variety of media projects and focuses in his writings on politics and human rights.
