Since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime on 8 December 2024, Syria has entered a complex and fragile transition marked by political restructuring, social fragmentation, and competing visions for governance. The Arab Reform Initiative follows this evolving process with a focus on accountability, inclusion, and local empowerment as cornerstones for sustainable recovery. This issue brings together ARI’s research, analyses, and dialogues on Syria’s political, economic, and institutional transformation, examining both the opportunities and obstacles that define the country’s path toward a just and stable future.
