Christophe Maroun is a PhD student in Geography at the Université de Montréal (Canada), researching how historical and political structures shape the trajectory and diffusion of initiatives toward a sustainable and equitable food system in Lebanon. He previously worked as Environmental Justice Program Manager at the Heinrich Böll Stiftung Beirut office.
