Amena Sharaf is a researcher and activist in environmental and climate justice. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Anthropology of Crises from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom. Amena’s research interests include intersectional issues, gender, justice considerations and their connection to neocolonialism, climate finance, and adaptation issues in the Global South. She works in research, advocacy, and collaborative learning, and is the Programs Director at the Egyptian Foundation for Environmental Rights.
