A collaboration between the Arab Reform Initiative and the Sudanese Center for Policy Studies. The “Sudanese Session” series aims to analyze the Sudanese crisis in all its dimensions, delving into its roots and far-reaching repercussions. Amid the current turbulent environment, the series addresses five main focal points:

1. Political Roots of the Conflict: A review of the historical and contemporary factors that have shaped the current political landscape, along with an analysis of their impact on the stability of national institutions.
2. Social Repercussions: An examination of rapid social transformations and how internal divisions have altered the fabric of society, intensifying local tensions.
3. Security and Stability Challenges: An assessment of the security risks stemming from the ongoing conflict and the issues surrounding public order, offering insights on rebuilding trust and achieving stability.
4. Economic Dimensions and Their Impact on Livelihoods: An exploration of the economic consequences of the conflicts, their effects on the national economy and citizens’ living conditions, while highlighting both gaps and opportunities amidst the current challenges.
5. Economic Challenges Amid the Outbreak of the April War: A special episode that focuses on the economic crisis exacerbated by the onset of the April War. This segment analyzes the impact of military conflict on economic resources, supply chains, and financial stability, while outlining potential scenarios for the future of the Sudanese economy under these critical conditions.
