Nawres Hammedi is a Tunisian jurist, civil society and political activist, and a researcher in the field of public policies and human rights.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in public law, specialising in administrative and tax disputes, from the Faculty of Law and Political Science in Sousse and a master’s degree in democratic governance and human rights from the Faculty of Legal, Political and Social Sciences in Tunis. She has extensive experience working with civil society organisations, where she was responsible for projects dealing with anti-disinformation and digital safety. She also contributed to training and framing youth on issues of democracy, human rights, and combating hate speech.  She is currently in charge of coordinating with civil society organisations at IWatch organization
