Mario Mikhail

Egyptian researcher

Mario Mikhail is a writer and researcher. His interests are interdisciplinary and lie in the areas of continental social theory, political philosophy, political sociology, cultural studies, and social and cultural history. He is currently a master’s student in the Erasmus Mundus Master’s in Euroculture at the University of Groningen and the University of Udine. He is also a recipient of the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship.  His latest academic publications include: - “Theorizing beyond the Man: The Frankfurt School and Post-humanist Feminism” published in the edited volume “Feminism and the Early Frankfurt School.”  - “A Messianic Life Can Be Lived Rightly: Democracy contra the Capitalist-Sovereign Order” published in The Central European Journal of Politics He also writes about human rights, and contemporary Egyptian and Middle Eastern politics in ‘Masr360’ website.
