
Kindah Ibrahim
Kindah Ibrahim is a Syrian development economist specializing in agricultural economics, rural livelihoods, and food security in conflict-affected contexts. She is currently a PhD candidate in Sustainable Rural Development at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, where her research focuses on the intersection of political conflict, agriculture, and food security in Syria.
With over 15 years of experience, Kindah has worked with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) on key projects across the MENA region, including in Syria, Jordan, Egypt, and the UAE. Her work has involved building agricultural models, conducting resilience assessments, and advising on inclusive agrifood policy design. She has also taught postgraduate courses in agricultural policy and research methods and contributed to international publications on migration, gender, and food systems under crisis.
