Ghinwa El Hayek
Public Health Researcher, Lebanese Epidemiological Association
Ghinwa Y. El Hayek is a public health researcher and a member of the Lebanese Epidemiological Association. Her research interests are on the methodological and quantitative aspects, from study design, analysis of surveillance data and non-traditional epidemiological sources in the fields of maternal and newborn health, mental health, and COVID-19. She holds a master degree in Public Health, with a concentration in epidemiology and biostatistics from the American University of Beirut. She is a non-resident fellow with the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy and the president of the Gamma Delta Chapter at the Faculty of Health Sciences at AUB.
